You might get a low power, repeater, or nightlight station. Chances are slim you would get the tournament with the TV itself.

Chances are greater you will get it with a converter box.

Is there any chance my handheld Sony TV.....?

I've got a golf/camping weekend planned over Father's Day weekend. I have this older Sony black and white handheld television with an antennae and I'm curious as to what the odds might be that I'll be able to catch any of the U.S. Open on it.

The switch to digital is supposed to happen (I think on the 12th of June) but I thought I'd heard that you still might be able to pick up a signal.

Your chances are slim to none. The only channels that are sure to work are the PBS channels. Most private channels turned off their analog feeds in February. They are selling hand-held TVs with digital tuners now so it might be time to upgrade.
