What are some good teen sci-fi or adventure books about teen girls?

Hi... I need some new books to read, Can you suggest some? I don't like vampire books, so please don't suggest Twilight. My fave books are probably the Maximum ride series by James Patterson, So if you know of any books like that, Please tell me. I also like action/adventure books....

Anything from the "Fear Street" series by R.L. Stine would probably good.

Or "The Door In The lake" is also a good one.

You could read "Monster" by Christopher Pike, but be warned, they got some VERY PG-13 scenes in that book.
