the DVD should tell you how but if your new and don't have a tuner you'll have no luck you'll need to get a tuner and turn the little knobs until the tuner says E and the next thinnest string says A then D,G,B,E that's standard tuning

ahh. never opened the DVD, but I got an electric tuner, it's nice... or you can use youtube. that's what I did for a loooong time...it's wiiicked.

it does teach u how to tune it. but u can also buy a tuner in the store.

Just buy an electronic tuner. They're so easy to use!

Yeah...it should. But, I would suggest an automatic tuner. That's what I use and they work great.
