An Interesting Speech Topic for a grade 8 class?

wellllll im in 8th and honsetly nothing would be interesting for half the kids in my grad. class. but for the smart people in my pre-ap class, we always love talking about politics. there are so many sides you could take.
 
Abortion
Nuclear Bombing
Treachery
etc. Warfare and sex are very interesting to people i know that by experince lol
 
"The Merits of the Mullet" about why the 80's hairstyle should come back--and in a big way! That'll wake 'em up.
 
I have an awesome topic. "What it would be like to be a dollar." Like meaning going from different people, travelling to different places, seeing really awkwared things... you could get really creative with this topic.I did this topic and everyone LOVED it and i got a great mark :) good luck.
 
I did stress in grade 8 and it sucked. So don't pick that.

Do abortion! Something controversial.
