How many text messages does the LG Xenon Hold?

How many in the the inbox and outbox does the phone hold before you have to delete them?

Also when you receive a message does it say who its from like,

1 New Message From "Bob" ?

I just got my LG Xenon today, and I have 97 text messages in my inbox, and it's already starting to say 98% full. So I'm guessing a 100 text messages? =(
I really hate deleting my texts, and my old phone (AT&T tilt) had 4000 texts in the inbox, and just as many in the outbox, but it never said memory full or anything.

And no, it simply says 1 new text message. It doesn't say the name.

you must set it to say the name of the person when they text you. and it does not just let you hold 100. it holds however many texts your memory card holds

this is incorrect... so far you cannot set the phone to hold texts on the micro SD card, only the sim card. This will effect how many contacts you will be able to have. And I think the number of texts it will hold on the phone memory is around 150

im about to return this pos phone. i can't stand the 150 text limit. the sim card only holds a additional 30 texts.

Can you really set the phone to say the persons name on the initial pop-up when they text you?

i have 170 texts on my lg xenon and its not even full yet so dunno what you kids are talking about

I got 27 texts and it said it was full. I'm going to AT&T to figure it out.

it holds 180 including the sim card.
150 on the phone
30 on the sim card
ive heard theres a way to get it to hold more..i just cant figure it out.
i believe there is a way to transfer your messages to the micro sd card

Ok! I just saw on another board --because i was having the SAME problem-- that you need to check your OUTBOX. I know, I know, it says zero, but it's lying. When you actually open it, it's got every message you've sent. That stopped mine from saying "Inbox full" to functioning normally. *The credit goes to xjayyyx13
