I guess us British either need to kick out our stinking corrupt government, or start taking our bicycles to work.
Fuel rises will have an immense impact on the whole economy, including our groceries, and I can't see anyone tolerating that.

a barrel of oil is at 98 dollars.,...20 dollars 7 yrs ago ... 50 dollars 3 yrs ago.. fuel oil,kerosene,gas and diesel are made from crude oil...as is plastic...like what 95 % of you computer is made of...yes...up...

Diesel is no longer a cheap fuel where I live (North East England) it is more expensive than petrol...

Umm sorry to you English people but the Aussies are about to cop higher petrol prices as well.
We have a long weekend coming up and if your not into horse racing its going to cost a bit to get away, then we have Easter another excuse to put up prices seems they always coincide with holiday times
