Earphones VS. Headphones? audiophiles and music lovers only?

Okay. I listen to a mix of music. Mostly to stuff like Seether and Def Leppard. Other things like Trance as well.
Should I buy Ipod Headphones or Skullcandy Skullcrushers

Which set will output better quality sound?
 
Get some real headphones, like Senheiser or Grado. Then, get some taste in music like REO Speedwagon!
