Stuck in a bit of a fashion rut? Help for a bit of a makeover for the spring?

So at the moment ive got myself stuck inbto a bit of a fashion rut and i keep wearing really boring clothes, just skinny jeans a camisole or some kind of top, a cardigan and ballet pumps. IM SO BORED OF IT but dont know where to start! I need new clothes anyway but i want something different, i feel ive lost all of my "edge" and ive gone way too girly and plain. I want feminine, but with some kind of attitude to my outfits if you know what i mean and kind of sexy. Im 16 and id prefer stuff like jeans and flat shoes rather than killer heels and really short shorts. Im size 12, not fat but curvy and i have an hourglass kind of shape so anything that would suit that would be nice.

If you have any links to clothes in the Uk, not too expensive that would help alot thanks x

i cant give links... idk any uk stores
    but here are some suggestions!:
    - i personally love skinny jeans; they really show off your figure! if you want variety in you skinnies get them in different washes.
    - well since its spring, tanks and tees are a girls bff! try tanks that are fitted in the chest and flow outwards as they go down. for tees, get cute graphic tees that really sum you up as a person. dont be afraid of color either!
    - i love my flats; but i cant live without my emus, flipflops, and converse!
    GOOD LUCKK!<3

miss selfridge is an amazee uk store that sells dresses suitable for curvy hourglass women as well as more petite women (: theres a lot of really sexy stuff and party dresses, aswell as vintagey /preppy stuff. if youre bored of skinny jeans, check out levi jeans or topshop and experiment with different styles ! or if you live in a big city you could book yourself a free style advisor in topshop. you could also try skirts with slogan tees - there are loadss of skirt shapes to try, and dark or white plimsoles with tights for more interesting combinations. (: just experiment, but you could keep part of your current look and incorporate it into your new look...it doesnt all have to be new (: go shopping with some girlfriends and have fun trying stuff on, gap, topshop, miss selfridge, warehouse and urban outfitters are all beau, you could even try a preppy boyfriend blazer with some skinnies or a casual vintage dress. i hope this helped, good luck xx

you can make any outfit more edgy and exciting if you wear bright/neon colors esepially now that spring is here. If you are a fan of ballet flats but your finding them boaring find some brightly colored ones, maybe some with a pointy toe or something diffrent along thoes lines. Also, think about pairing a short croped leather jacket with some outfits you may already have, this will make any boaring outfit seem more edgy and exciting. You can also pair a leather jacket like that with some sort of cute dress to give it a mix of girly and edgyness. Hair also really makes an outfit! Try teasing your hair for more volume if you have a nice edgy hairstyle to go along with anyoutfit it really makes a statement. Hope i helped!
