I ask this because to me it seems the price of nicotine gum has gone up over the years just as much as cigarettes. Is the gum taxed like the cigarettes or is it just an opportunistic way for the nicotine gum companies to make more money?
I don't really pay attention to the price of nicotine gum, but I'd say that the government makes so much money off me smoking that they'd want to discourage quitting ... I'm funding a whole lot of government programs by turning my lungs black
