Which Verizon cell phone should I buy right now, no keyboard, just a phone?

I don't want a keyboard. I don't need a fancy camera. I just want to use it as a phone, and send some basic text messages. I want to it to be small, have good sound quality, long battery life, a little screen on the outside so I can use it as a clock.
