toshiba satellite l300d dc adapter?

my toshiba satellite l300d dc adapter fits in to my laptop nicely but seem to move about is this normal as iv only had the computer i think it might be normal maybe to stop it braking the computer if someone trips over it do anyone have a satellite and dose it do the same thank you

Your DC jack is coming loose. What happens in the solder points on the jack get loose after a while on some laptops. Eventually, it will break completely and the laptop won't get power from the adapter anymore. There are companies that specialize in fixing this. runs about $100.
