    How to record a call in Nokia 5310 without beep?? 10 points for a quick answer?

    I'm almost positive that it can't be done. The phone is programmed that way because it's illegal to record someone (yes, even if you're the other half of the conversation) unless you inform them that they are being recorded. So they've programmed it to let the other person know what's up, even if you don't.

    Why it's legal to record both sides of a real live conversation without letting the other person know, but not on the phone ... well, that's a mystery to me too. Maybe because then it's about the same as wire-tapping.
