flush mount turn signals on a sport bike?

I just bought a 08 Yamaha R6S and wanted to get rid of the rear fender so i bought a integrated turn signal/brake light and want to get rid of the front turn signals with flush mount lights. So my questions are:
How well do the flush mount signals work?
Are they easy to see?
Are they street legal?

Are there better easier to see turn signals, say in the head lights or mirrors?

I put the hotboddie turn signals on my r1, they are easier to see then stock and blink quicker. when things blink or move more quickly they attract your eyes better. I also have the turn signals in my mirrors and they are the first thing ppl see when i have my blinker on. As long as i keep it under 100 they don't move to much.

Flush mounts work nicely.
They're as easy to less easy to see compared to stock. (Unless you get a brighter bulb.)
They are street legal.
Pretty much 'easier to see' goes with brightness or a modular adapter that blinks your brake lights when you're stopping.
