my car wont start its a acura legend 92?

can any one out their answer my question, my car wont start and it just clicks people have told me its the starter but idk if anyone out their knows wats wrong can u let me know its a acura legend 92

Hey there

The most likely reason for clicking is worn out starter motor. Just make sure that you have oil n the engine and that the motor is not seized. I also ran into few problems were either air compressor or alternator wold seize up and have the same effect. If there is a clear access to the starter you can lightly tap it while some one attempts to start it. If the vehicle starts it then you have pinpointed bad starter.

the first thing is check the battery terminals to see if they are clean and tight. if they are then maybe the starter is just stuck. tap on the starter and see if it will turn over.

Does the battery have any charge in it? If it does and it still clicks it sounds like a bad connection on the starter motor...take a live feed from the battery and put directly onto the starter motor....obviously in neutral...and see if it kicks over....if it does then you have a bad connection or faulty solenoid on the motor itself....

could be battery if other electronic dont turn on, or either way it may only need a jump

Sounds like the battery is low. often the solenoid will click when you try to start a car wit a dead or almost dead bat. Good luck.
