Computers are a machine that runs on electricity and wiring, in lamens terms. And the internet is transmitted through these wires. What is so magical about that? I guess electricity seems like magic to simple folk, but computers are nothing but a modern day convenience.
Sound like you are seeking Him . . . by being a goober. He will meet you there, too.
um...okay...Christians have just as much right to use the internet as anyone else.you've been misinformed.
Unless they're Amish this question makes no sense.
Obviously, you did not use the spell check.
I am Christian and use the internet for finding information, news around the world and finding grocery coupons. Recipes as well. Having fun with Yahoo Answers but being selective in what I respond to and hopefully, helping the person at the same time.
I disagree with your first statement, Religion cannot explain the internet. They have nothing to do with each other.
Magic is not evil, nor is it a sin. Magic is an illusion, sleight of hand.
In the book of Daniel, an angel tells Daniel to shut up thy book, for the end will not come until there is an explosion of knowledge, and freedom of travel. The internet, my friend, is technology, not magic. If you need anything, my e-mail is [email protected]. Take care.
I don't believe the internet is defined as "magic". So, it does not bother me in the least to be "on the internet".
I believe God gave us brains to use; not so we could fear more and more things.
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
Arthur Clarke
Edit: Actually, if you are atheist, then you don't have a very deep understanding of religion, so I guess your "question" is just a little rant.
BTW, how come your question is fairly correct, but your additional comments read like they were posted by a simian?
for the LAST tiem, christianity is not a religion. it is a relationship with God, religion requires masses of tradition.
and who are you to say i'm not suppose to be on the internet
its not considered magic its considered carnal.
