Does anyone know anything about LED flashlight?

i heard is one of the most energy saving flashlight well im wondering... are there good and bad LED flash lights? does the cheaper led light use up the battery faster than than the expensive ones or is base on their design or quailty of how long the outer "shell" last. Does all LED light bulb have the same brightness? thanks
