I have this laptop

I just installed Crysis, and at first it looked promising enough, since the menu wasn't slow or anything like that, and the intro cutscenes didn't look perfect but still it was the way I supposed it would've worked on my laptop, but once the game started, it was sooooo slow, and even there was a half second lag with the controls.
I suppose that my processor isn't that powerful to run Crysis...
Is there a way that I can play Crysis properly or any other game that requieres a lot of Ghz?? or do I have to get a more powerful computer to run those games???
