Hey guys, I just got a new storm and have some "nooby" questions. so they shouldn't be too hard to answer.

First Question, the screen brightness
In the settings i turned the screen brightness to the highest it can go, but occasionally as I use the phone, I notice the screen will brighten up ALOT than dim back down about 10 seconds later. What's going on? is there a way I can keep it that bright?

Second question, the blinking light in the upper right hand corner of the storm
What is the purpose of this light and what do the different colors mean?

3rd question, VZ navigator

I cannot seem to get the navigator to work, I will click the icon and the loading sequence for the navigor will go, but then I am directly taken but to the home screen.
