my guy friend told me ,yo are fishing.. what does that mean? I asked him"did you misss me? He said yes, then he told me I am fishing? What does he men by this!

He means you are asking him in a round-about way to say yes he missed you.
He thinks you were "fishing" (asking) for a compliment or a comment.
