being defensive and excusatory.? I believe that church is a place to go and participate in traditions and rituals in order to meditate on the teachings of that religion, and to fellowship with other people as a means of motivation. Outside the church, spirituality is the true communion with the god, morals, and philosophy of that religion.

Now, do you believe that since the church serves as a motivation to do good, should I be angry that when I get to church, people are talking about what I did on the weekend, saying that I sinned behind my back? Should they be judging me on whether or not what I did was a sin? Whether or not I was honest with them about it is not the issue (though I am an openly honest person and not a hypocrite, I'd like to think).

What is the issue is that I agree that people should call me out on the things I do wrong, but is there another way to do it besides judgement and gossip?
