Rumors - friend is spreading rumors about me?

A friend is spreading rumors about me after not getting along for a while. I am not totally sure but I think that they are telling people they found some strange porn on my computer like 8 years ago. It has been a long time but think it is something I remeber a friend of my siblings looking up for a laugh, gonzo stuff that is very odd but not illeagal, but I am not sure exactly what they are saying as I have only been able to get bits and pieces of info. People I know are now treating me like a pervert or something and it is starting to pull me down. I have even thought of suicide after being betrayed and lied about and made out to be something I am not. It seems that once something gets made up it just becomes the truth and I dont know what to do. Any help would be nice

First of all, do NOT commit suicide, it will NOT solve anything, and I'm SURE that the so called "Friend(s)" of your's will be feeling really sorry for driving you to it. I should know, I've threatened to commit suicide myself because everyone was being a jerk to me.
So, the "friend(s)" that you say are you friends, aren't truely your friends if they are spreading rumors around about you, their just trying to make your Social status go down will their's goes up.
If they were your TRUE friends, they would stick by your side while a rumor is going around about you, instead of start one.
Tell all of your real friends that it was just them trying to make you look bad, and tell them that you think porn is gross. It will work on your true friends.
