ok, im rather young. i like him. he MIGHT like me (rumor) how can i tell?

I've know him for like 8 months and one day i had one of my friends ZAP me (if you know what that is). he said i was a little on the crazy side 8(. it's been like a month since the topic has been brought up between the two of us but now rumor has it that HE likes me. I got him just alittle something 4 v's day. he said i was a friend and he always sticks up for me and uells at ANYBODY that makes fun of me or anything. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want a bf! his friend is always teasing me about it and i just tell him to shut up. please please please help! i really really need to know if he likes me!!!! that would really make my life so much better. i often catch him looking at me 8) but that doesnt mean anything. im not really the "most popular" girl at my school and only the freaks like me.
