Hey guys, I'm using a Mac, and I want to Jailbreak my iPhone. Everything goes well, I get the phone into the DFU mode, and then this error message reading:

"An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod, then try again. An unknown error occurred (2001).

I have the 2.2.1 software, and I keep looking up video tutorials, but nothing is working. Everything is legitmate, I have not updated the carrier settings, but I'm not sure why that would have anything to do with it. My phone is just really getting annoying. So, what should I do? I have the Quickpwn 2.2.5 version (the latest one), help!! Please.
Also, do i have to leave iTunes on when i run quickpwn?

I noticed that when I try to run quickpwn and i have to turn off the phone to get into DFU, my phone is still syncing...help with that also please.
