payment.? I am freelancer and whenever I travel my employer pays me mileage. Initially I was told company policy is not to pay if I travel within the 10 miles from my home. They been paying me full mileage when I travel more than 10 miles but recently they told me that when I travel more than 10 miles they will deduct 20 miles mileage (for round trip) from the total mileage. Does this comply with state travel/mileage regulations?
