can guinea pigs eat pickles- not for main food source but only as a treat?

I was wondering if it's ok for a guinea pig to eat a pickle from time to time. my daughter's guinea pig sometimes will run up to her and grab a pickle. he just loves them. She won't let him have any until we find out if it's ok and he isn't to happy. I know the vinegar is good for humans but not sure about guinea pigs. Any vets on here to help?

No, guinea pigs should not have pickels. Pickels have too high of a vinegar content that could make the guinea pig sick. Guineas can have cucumbers though.
