How much should I sell 1996 toyota camry with a locked engine for?

I'm looking to sell/get rid of my 1996 Camry since the engine locked up on it this past weekend. I recently put 1500 dollars worth of work into it with brand new brakes, tires, tune up, starter, struts and shocks. I don't know if its worth anything now. But everything else was in stunning condition. I don't feel like spending the 2k to get a new engine in it. How much could I sell it for random parts and whatnot.

The new brakes, tires, and air freshener are unfortunately now a afterthought. You can most likely get as much fro the tires as you can the entire vehicle. I bet you can get an engine for less than $2k.

    You're looking at $200-300 tops.

You might, maybe, possibly be able to get someone to pay you about $100 for it. More likely, you'll be calling junk yards and begging them to tow it away without charging you. If you can get anything for it, take it.

Unfortunately a 13 year old car with a seized engine isn't worth anything, it's even too old for most junk yards to want to pay for it. The cut off is usually 10 years. It's very likely that this will cost you about $100 to get towed away.

You will get the most out of it if you break down the pieces and sell them off separately. This may take time though. If you just want to sell it as a whole, I have heard that you can take it to the crusher and get around 500.00 for it as junk.
