Is it legal taking pictures of police officers and their squad cars while they're in the midst of inspecting a car accident?

NO not legal. I go tin trouble for taking a picture of an off duty cop on a motercycle game in an arcade.....I thought it was funny. The long lecture was DAMN worth it =]

It's legal but expect to get harassed. Do a search on Youtube, lots of videos of your situation.

sounds weird that paparazzi can harass movie stars but you cant take a picture. get a lawyer and fight this all the way to the supreme court.
