How can I get car Tax, I've just bought the car, so I haven't got my

insurance certificate or log book yet? ? It's got an mot and insurance, but I have no log book or insurance certificate so I can't tax it at a Post office. If I tax it online or by phone they will send it the the last owner as the car is still in there name.
please help
