can a private dealer repo my car if he never used a finance company? ?
I baught a car from a private dealer and made payments but it never went on my credit. It was more of a verbal agreement. No finance company was ever used. The car turned out to be a lemon and instead of paying what I owed the dealer said I could pay just a total of $2000.00. I pay $100.00 a month on a verba agreement. I missed a payment and now he is threatening to repo my car for the full amount. Can he do this? Please help.
