Ok so i've been friends with this awesome girl for 3 years now, (I am 23 she is 26)over the last year i developed feelings for her and finally told her last month. She told me she liked me to.

Then last week she changed her mind and said it might be bad for our friendship if it didn't work out. She also said she doesn't like me as much as she once did, but still likes me.

She's told me many times in the past she's just retarded when it comes to relationships. She told me she is a fickle lover and is afraid of commitment.

So maybe she was afraid of hurting our friendship but i think thats only because of these issues she has, i feel a friendship should be a good foundation for a real relationship. How do i help her get past these relationship issues she seems to have? I fear she will never get married to anyone if she continues life with them, i really care for her and would like to see her get past these issues even if she ends up with someone else.

Be honest with her about how you feel. Tell her exactly what you've said here, she should understand.
Tell her that you want to help her get past her relationship issues and you really want to be with her. If you can convince her that you can be together without risking your friendship I'm sure she will be interested.
