Where have you been? HD DVD is a dead format. Blu-Ray won the format war.
The reason you are seeing cheap HD DVDs and players is because they're all discontinued, clearance items.
If your HD cable doesn't look fabulous, there is either something wrong with your cable signal, your equipment settings, or your connections.
Comcast cable looks terrific on both my 1080i and 720p...
Reasons to choose the BD35:
- slightly better video performance, especially with standard def DVDs
- can be integrated more easily into home theaters because it uses an infrared remote control, so...
You need to make sure your source components are sending bitstream audio and not PCM. There are settings in the Setup menus for this. I have an XA2 also (sigh), and the info is on page 55 of the user...
Yup. I bought the Toshiba HD-XA2 because it was the best HD DVD player available. At the time, HD DVD was a fully defined and implemented specification - unlike Blu-Ray, which was still evolving...

I'm like you. I've always been a high-end equipment enthusiast. But I have learned (mostly from "Home Theater" magazine), that prices - and even brands - of modern receivers and Blu-Ray players do...
Your question is too vague because you didn't tell us what your existing home theater equipment is. Long story short? The Panasonic DMP-BD35 and DMP-BD55 are the best for the money right now. Which...
I'm not familiar with your PSP, but all USB chargers are the same, with a standard 5 volts. No worries.
You want cheap? Go to your local hardware store. Buy two shelf brackets, a piece of wood, and some screws. Optionally paint the shelf, or you can buy pre-painted ones. Mount the shelf under your TV,...
Egg cartons on the walls won't help. Bass vibrations travel through the floor and walls more than through the air. So you need to physically decouple your sub (and perhaps your other speakers, too)...
Sure, until the first time the bike gets wet. It will then rust nicely under the tape. And forget about ever washing it. You'd have to unwrap it first.
As a free bonus when ordering some bike stuff online, I got an assortment of Pedro's lubes. The are
- Syn Lube
- Road Rage
- Extra Dry
- Ice Wax
Because I ride in dry, dusty California, I've...
You need software called Motorola Phone Tools.
Yes, they will gladly sell you a SIM card. Only they can tell you whether a contract will be required.
