hi i have an 08 civic lx and i currently have 18s on them i was thinking of switching them to some 16's with 205/40/16 tires... but im kinda sketchy to how it would look?? would it look ok and not...

my rims had some scratches on the outer lip, so i sanded it on some parts , but now how do i restore the shine and color, its a chrome type of metal the type that reflects i dont know what it is...
