What causes interruption of radio/sattelite waves?
writing a sci fi novel.
I have questions:

what can cause interception of radio/sattelite waves?
Why does this happen?

cosmic background radiation causes the static you hear on the radio, and a source of waves of which is 1/2 the wavelength out of phase and the same frequency and amplitude they would cancel out each other.
