    is the "star" just above, slightly to the side of the moon each night a

    star or a sattelite? husband & I have a wager, there is a little bright light that nevers twinkles or moves by the moon each night. star or sattelite?

    That is Jupiter. The moon is getting closer to it. It will pass underneath it later this morning.
