Thread: How to fix a Toshiba Satellite vista laptop?

It had an "improper shutdown" and is stuck at the system reboot, there's only 2 options, which are to 'Launch startup repair (recommended)
and to start windows normally
what do i do?
do i ''need' a recovery disc?

what if we don't have it anymore

startup repair will probly format the puter to how you bought it,

i would seek advise or you may lose programs that you have paid for.
