Help with downgraded toshiba satellite a205-s5804 from vista to xp.?
I downgraded, and now in Device Manager under the category "Other Devices," there is listed "Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus" and it says that the driver is not installed. I ran microsoft update and it downloaded my wireless driver, but this "other device" is still showing up in Device Manager. Furthermore, when I try to run the Network Setup Wizard, it tells me that my "wireless network connection Realtek RTL8187b...wireless network adapter" is disconnected. My wireless seems to be working fine, however. Does anybody know what the problem/solution is?
