How to Program Vizio Remote w/Dish Network?

Hello! I purchased a Vizio TV a few months ago. It came w/the VUR10 slide-out keyboard, blue-tooth remote. Within a few months the remote died due to problems w/the slide-out keyboard. After doing some online research I found that keyboard problems w/that remote are common. As a replacement to my original remote I was suggested the Vizio XRV1 TV remote. It has virtually all the same buttons except for 1, the "Input power" button. According to the TV manual that button is used to program the remote for various input devices? Is there a way to program this remote to work w/my Dish Network satellite box w/out that button?
