Samsung PC Studio f256 phone.......?

Hi! I have a Samsung f256 phone and I've installed Samsung PC studio. I installed PC studio and the USB connecter thingy. However when I open PC studio, all the icons are greyed out and the phone wont show up! When I unplug the phone the icons are clickable. I JUST WANT TO PUT MUSIC ON MY PHONE DAMMIT!
