I know the XBR is a more higher end set....but how does the Samsung LN40A650 compare to it?
Also... Has anybody heard anything on the price of the upcoming Sony Bravia KDL-40W4100?
Please elaborate....
thanks

Well the key features of the Sony is that fact that it is a 10 bit display panel. amd that is about really the only thing that I see better then the Samsung. And a 10 bit panel will give you more colors per pixel, which in turn gives you a wider variety of colors on screen. But here is the catch, you would have to find something that is rendered for a 10 bit panel which currently is nothing and will probaly be nothin for a while and I say a while like by the time it does come out your most likley going to be getting ready for a new Tv. The sony also has a 18000 to 1 contrast ration. Where the samsung has a 50,000 to 1 which means in dark scenes you will notice alot more detail without having to try and see it . But all in all I would go witha samsung. cause I have 2 and I can tell you from experience that they are awesome.
