Samsung Fascinate Headphone Jack not working?

I recently bought a new Samsung Fascinate. For the first couple weeks, when I listened to audio with my earphones through the headphone jack, I was able to hear everything. However, soon I had to twist the earphone connector to a certain way in order to listen to the music. The problem has gotten worse and now, when I try to listen to my music player, I hear nothing at all. The speakers work fine, but whenever I plug in the earphones (and I've tried two different earphones), no audio comes out from neither the speaker nor the earphones.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please let me know.
