Thread: samsung DLP help!!!!!?

I have a 50" Samsung DLP 720p HDTV, it is model HLP5063WX/XAA. The problem is the following:

I turn on the TV and from anywhere between 20seconds to 2minutes, the TV just randomly shuts of, then 20seconds to 2minutes later, the TV starts back up, then in another 20 seconds the TV shuts of, then the TV turns back on, and that cycle just keeps on happening.

I already replaced the lamp - nothing happened
I cleaned out the system of all dust - nothing happened

WHAT DO I DO NOW?????

When you asked about replacing the lamp, the technicians should of informed you that the ballast may be causing the same problem - The ballast is the device that outputs power to the lamp... Get it checked out by a service centre, preferably an authorised samsung service centre... There is more reasons it could be doing that problem also.
