Thread: Samsung Alias Auto-View Glitch?!?!?

So I had the Samsung SCH-u740 for about a year, and then I used the warantee to get a new one because the earpiece wasn't working properly. They sent me the newer Samsung Alias (same as SCH-u740 but just an upgraded keypad). However, when I set the text messaging to "Auto-View" so I can read my text messages on the outside of my phone, the phone BARELY rings/vibrates because I guess it thinks that I've already "read" the message. When I say BARELY, I mean it only rings/vibrates for a split second, making it impossible to tell when I get a text. However, if I turn Auto-View off, it rings/vibrates normally. This is a shame because Auto-View was one of my favorite features on my old phone, but now on the "upgraded" Alias this feature is essentially useless. Does anyone know if there's anyway to fix this or any software upgrade to download?
