My friend gave me the tv for free cause he got a new one, however, I was hoping that someone would know a way to fix the boxes cause I would rather just fix this tv than have to buy a new one. The boxes do not always show up on the screen but the appear and then disappear. If you know what the problem is and if you know where I could get the parts to fix it that would be great!

go into the menu and turn off closed captioning
