It is a Samsung Katalyst and my friend has one too and hers does not work either. How do I make it work? My cousin has a Samsung very similar to mine and his Bluetooth works.

Some Samsung phones will only connect with a bluetooth headset. It probably will not link up with another phone or computer. Check some forums on the web, they might have some work arounds or simple solutions for you.
