I tried to drag mp3 on the sd card but it doesnt play when I put the card back in the phone. My friend has a samsung m510 and his works but my samsung a950 will not accept mp3

After transferring mp3's to your card. Have you tried to access the memory and transfer to your phone memory?
I have a SCH-U740 and I also just transfer mp3 files to my micro SD card. But my phone will play them from the card.
