I recently bought a little Samsung HDTV, and I've been attempting to calibrate it using Joe Kane's Digital Video Essential played via my Xbox 360. When performing the colour calibration, it seems nigh on impossible to get the colour level right, tint does not balance out the squares on the far right (top) and far left (bottom). On top of this, there are errors in both the green and red patterns, although more prominent in the red. All this leads me to believe that there may be a problem with the colour decoding, but could it be a greyscale issue? I have not calibrated the greys yet, as the explanation of how to do so is quite vague. Can anyone help me? I am on the quest for the perfect picture setup, but spending as much as I spent on the tv again for a profesional calibration isn't really an option.

Thanks,

Paul
