Thread: have a samsung sch a870 mobile but it won't connect via data cable...

i have downloaded the drivers from samsung but it still won't connect to pc studio. i want to get my pics off and maybe add some ring tones. i have also tried using bitpim - it connects but when you try to get info you get "unexpected error". does the phone have to be on some sort of setting? or does something on the computer need to be changed? my carrier is us cellular.

i have the a-870 and connect it to bitpim with no problems at all, and i dont need to change any setting. try going to bitpims website and downloading the newest version of their software.
