I have a sgh-t329 samsung stripe. and when i go to look at my text message inbox it freezes and restarts. it seems like every other function works fine except that. any help?

To add or change the text messaging (SMS) service center number on your handset, follow these steps:
From the main screen, select Menu.
Select Messages.
Scroll to and select Settings.
Select Text messages.
Modify the SMS center phone number.
NOTE: The number should be +12063130004. To enter a PLUS SIGN (+), press and hold the 0 (zero) key.
Select Save.
or whatever number you gave your provider
