I grew-up in Western Pennsylvania and was familiar with Dr. Fred Rogers. Mister Rogers was born in 1928, making him too young to have served in WWII. That also made him a bit too old to have served in either Korea or Vietnam. He went straight from high school, to college, to seminary school, to graduate school - no time for military service.

what of it if he served his country? i still love the man he was like the father i never had
