| The usb port is there but it is not active, it is used for upgrading and testing purposes back at the Rogers warehouse.
It is virtually impossible to "hack" a cable box as the box requires a "zap" from Rogers every 72 hours, or it will lock out and not unlock.
Getting extra channels is impossible as well, as the way the zap" works, is it transmits the information from the main computer that is tied to your account and bill. If the entry for the channels you dont have isnt on your account it wont transmit the unlock for it.
If it does transmit the unlock for it, it will also generate the cost on your bill. |
